We are proud to announce that Qidenus Technologies (an iGuana company) successfully delivered an iGuana solution that consists of 29 Qidenus book scanners for a large-scale digitization project of the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Qidenus scanners have been installed and are now in full operation at the digitization centre set up for the Ministry. For the moment, 300 trained scan operators working in shifts around the clock are using Qidenus state-of-the-art book scanners and technology to digitize 80 million civil status documents (from the last 100 years) that are contained in the Ministry’s archive. Specifically, the digitization facility’s personnel are working with 12 Qidenus Mastered and 17 Qidenus Smart book scanner units.

This is exciting news for Qidenus Technologies and for iGuana for many reasons. First and foremost, it’s the project’s sheer scale involving delivery of 29 top-of-the-line book scanners within the framework of a single scanning project. Our international team is excited to see their efforts to further extend and optimize our manufacturing and R&D capabilities come to fruition. Secondly, it demonstrates the success of our strategy to extend our international presence and is a testament to the success and importance of our channel partner network. This project was made possible due to close collaboration between Qidenus Technologies, its trusted Gold Partner with intricate knowledge of the local market and all the required, hands-on expertise – Complex System Development, and their partner Telekom Romania. Last but not least, it shows that Qidenus book scanners and technology continue to be trusted by partners and customers across regions and industry sectors to deliver quality, reliability and innovation.

The Qidenus Technologies & iGuana team are pleased to see Qidenus solutions in action and wish everyone involved in this project much success!
